Although this a fictional story, it still shows how God rewards those who are faithful and have been able to stand. I love Mrs. GRIGGS WRITING.
An interesting read that explored the life of one woman's road after salvation. This book carried with it a common thread that God is with us at all times. I loved the way the author began each chapter with a scripture reminding the reader that God must be at the forefront of all that we do. And with Gabrielle, the main character, she made it plain and kept it real. No matter what the enemy threw her way, she stood her ground which is the foundation of faith. Although fictional, there is something many can learn from her life...remaining steadfast in the word at any cost. You never lose with Jesus.
May Vanessa's work be a blessing to all that read.
Great book. Real Christian fiction. It is a sorry of a woman's journey in accepting Christ in her life and moving forward.
Wow is simply an understatement for such a great read. Be prepared to loose sleep, because I stayed up until the weee... Hours of the night trying to get all the reading in that I could. This book shows us just how some "church-folk" will try to condemn people for past transgressions. This book had me in tears, Ms Davis paints the picture so vividly that you can see and feel the struggles, pain and the hurdles they overcome. Satan is going to rear his ugly head so much in this book, that you will say to yourself "how much more can one person stand"; but, oh you will see just how much.....-)
I rated this book very high because it is one of the best self help books that is written and available on the market for this century. This book has helped not only me, but it has been a tremendous help to the members of my church. I would recommend this book to everyone that wants to increase and improve their spiritual health.
